Work Based Learning

 

On- the- job learning is a cost effective way to deliver meaningful and relevant training.  The training takes place while employees are actually working which means that valuable knowledge and skills can be gained while employees are carrying out their jobs.

 

In many instances and subject to eligibility, we are able to work proactively to access Government funding to support the delivery of work-based qualifications and programmes, helping our clients own Learning & Development budget to go further!

  • Employees learn in the real work environment and gain experience dealing with the tasks and challenges that they will meet during a normal working day.
  • The business benefits by ensuring that the training is specific to the job and helps to reduce the need for employees to attend off-the-job training or losing work time.

  • Supervisor and Management development - the line manager needs to have the knowledge, skills and ability to deliver on-the-job training.  We can provide specific development programmes to ensure that line managers are supported and have the skills and confidence to organise and deliver the on-the-job training.  We can also provide independent assessment of the line manager’s on-the-job training activities to ensure that they are having maximum impact and is a ‘real’ investment of time and money.  Our programmes include;

In all instances, the employee will have access to a wealth of learning resources; a learning plan, online training modules, case studies and one to one development and coaching from a personal Training Assessor.
